Jumping Battle: A Fun Indoor Challenge in Konkuk

Last week, the weather was gloomy, so I looked for a place where I could move around indoors for a change and ended up checking out 점핑배틀 (Jumping Battle) in Konkuk!

It’s a great indoor activity spot where you can work up a sweat in a short amount of time. It felt like a perfect stop with friends or a partner after a meal to walk it off and have some fun. Here’s my review!

🎮 Stepping into a Convenient Spot With a Sleek Interior

The Jumping Battle sign and the exterior of the building’s third floor.

The entrance to Jumping Battle.

I found it easily by heading straight into the food alley from Exit 2 of 건대입구역 (Konkuk University Entrance Station).

It’s located on the third floor of a building that also has an escape room cafe.

The purple neon lighting greeted me right from the entrance and gave the place a trendy vibe.

White lockers for storing belongings and a drink bar with refreshing beverages.

Inside, there was a spacious locker area where visitors could store their belongings.

I could leave my bag and outerwear behind and enjoy the games comfortably.

Before starting the game, everyone had to put on the shoes provided at the venue.

💦 Diving into the Intense 15-Minute Jumping Battle Challenge

Colorful LED floor panels.

The main attraction at Jumping Battle was an LED floor game played inside a room.

The goal was to step on the green safe zones, avoid the red panels, and clear the blue mission panels.

Every time I stepped on a red panel, I lost a heart. After five mistakes, the mission failed and I had to start over.

The difficulty levels went from Basic, Easy, Normal, Hard, and Challenger.

We picked Easy, and it was still plenty of fun. In fact, we couldn’t even clear it because we got exhausted during the 15 minutes. 😭

At first, I thought, “Isn’t 15 minutes way too short?” But once I got going, it burned through energy much faster than expected.

Even the Easy mode wasn’t easy at all for first-time players!

🏆 Wrapping Up With Rankings and a Refreshing Slushie

Outside the game room, there was a large electronic board displaying nationwide rankings.

The top-ranked players across the country must’ve been incredibly skilled.

After running around for a while, I got really thirsty. The drink bar near the entrance offered water, drinks for 1,000 KRW, and nostalgic slushies for 1,500 KRW.

A cold, sweet slushie was the perfect way to recharge afterward.

💡 Who Should Come Here?

1. Anyone who’s tired of the usual date routine or the standard meal-and-cafe meetup.

2. Anyone looking for a fun competitive game with friends after a meal.

3. Anyone who wants a short but active indoor activity regardless of the weather.

💬 Wrapping Things Up With Active Fun

It turned out to be much more active than I expected, making it a great way to blow off some steam.

It wasn’t a huge all-day activity, but it definitely felt worthwhile for sharing some laughs and working up a sweat during an ordinary day.

If I visited Konkuk again, I’d love to come back and try it with other friends.

If you’re nearby, I’d recommend dropping in and giving it a try.
