Ashley Queens Magok

Ashley Queens Magok Autumn Menu Preview | Desserts to Barbecue

With the lingering heat taking away my appetite morning and night, I heard that Ashley Queens Magok branch(애슐리퀸즈 마곡점) had launched its new fall menu early. I headed over right away and decided to share how everything tasted.

🍁 Stepping into Early Fall Flavors at Ashley Queens Magok

As soon as I walked through the entrance of Ashley Queens Magok, I was welcomed by a banner filled with rich autumn colors.

It was a special period when only selected locations offered the fall seasonal dishes ahead of time, and I was glad that the Magok branch was included.

I visited during dinner time, and there were already plenty of people there, so I waited briefly before getting in. The Magok branch was spacious and comfortable.

After sitting down, I headed straight out to check out the new menu items.

🍖 Diving into Smoky Favorites at the Grill & Barbecue Section

The first place I made my way to was the grill corner, where a delicious smoky aroma drifted through the air. There were lots of fall menu items waiting there.

Fall New Menu: Pork Pocket Bread

Smoky Barbecue Pork & Pocket Pita Bread featured tender barbecue pork simmered in a sweet and savory sauce. It tasted great on its own, but it became even better when I stuffed the pork into the chewy pita bread provided nearby and added sauces to my liking. I made one myself, and the combination of meat and sauces worked really well together.

Fall New Menu: French Duck with Pumpkin Purée

Slices of smoked duck were piled high and roasted to a golden finish. Paired with the sweet and creamy pumpkin purée sauce, it delivered a completely different flavor from the usual mustard sauce, which I really enjoyed.

Fall New Menu: Chicken & Corn Balls with Citrus Lemon Cream

Boneless chicken coated in savory corn seasoning and soft corn balls were generously topped with a sweet and tangy lemon cream sauce. The crispy exterior and juicy interior, combined with the rich sweetness, kept me coming back for more.

Fall New Menu: Spanish Cheese Corn

Roasted corn was coated generously with a sweet-and-savory cheese seasoning and grilled again. Every bite delivered that addictive sweet-and-salty flavor. It reminded me of buttery grilled corn sold at stores.

The Existing Favorites Were Still Excellent

Beyond the seasonal additions, the grill section also offered Texas smoked pork ribs with a sweet and spicy exterior and juicy interior, herb-marinated roasted cabbage that brought out the vegetable’s natural sweetness, and Mediterranean-style fish steak. The selection was so generous that my plate filled up quickly.

🍣 With Fresh Colors Across the Sushi & Roll World

Next to the grill section, a wide lineup of colorful sushi and rolls stretched out beautifully.

The standout was the avocado salmon roll, topped with creamy sauce and fresh avocado mousse that elevated the flavor even more. It melted away as soon as I took a bite.

There were also gamtae rolls wrapped in fragrant seaweed and tuna flying fish roe cheese onigiri covered generously with roe and cheese toppings. Their bite-sized appearance was cute, yet surprisingly satisfying.

I also enjoyed the sweet egg sushi that I always like. The overall freshness and quality control of the sushi selection felt well maintained.

🍕 Exploring Standout Italian Fall Dishes

The Italian section was where the seasonal fall menu really shined.

Fall New Menu: Savory Pumpkin Bacon Gnocchi

This was the most memorable dish I tried that day. The rich yellow pumpkin cream sauce was sweet and velvety, pairing perfectly with the chewy texture of the gnocchi. The salty bacon created a fantastic sweet-and-savory balance, making this my personal favorite. I kept going back for more.

Fall New Menu: White Mushroom Lasagna

Ashley’s signature White Mushroom Lasagna layered soft pasta sheets with rich mushroom cream sauce. The deep mushroom aroma spreading through each bite matched my taste perfectly.

I also stopped by the pizza and pasta corner. Alongside the regular selections, there was a new seasonal pizza available.

Fall New Menu: Autumn Apple Basil Pizza

This pizza combined sweet stewed apple cubes, basil pesto, ham, and pistachio powder on a golden crust. The apple cubes gave it a slight Hawaiian pizza vibe.

🍜 Refreshing Things Up at the DIY Noodle & Korean Food Corner

Ashley Queens DIY Noodle Bar

After filling up on Western dishes and grilled foods, I moved over to something lighter and more refreshing.

At the noodle station, I could make mala soup or udon using springy udon noodles and customize the flavors with various sauces. A warm bowl filled with broth, radish, and green onions felt refreshing and reset my palate.

Next to it was a buckwheat sprout bibimbap station where I mixed fresh vegetables, water parsley, and savory seasonings to my liking. It made for a healthy and satisfying bowl.

There was also a FOR KIDS section that suited family dining perfectly. Fried rice with ham and vegetables, sweet black bean sauce, and bite-sized mini hot dogs were neatly prepared, showing thoughtful consideration for children.

Fall New Menu: Crispy Fish-Fragrant Eggplant

This seasonal eggplant dish featured a crispy exterior, a moist interior, and flavorful fish-fragrant sauce. It was a nice choice that didn’t feel heavy.

🍇 Stepping into a Pink and Purple Dessert Wonderland

After finishing my meal, I headed over to the dessert zone for the sweet finale. The seasonal desserts were so visually appealing that they almost looked too pretty to eat.

Fall New Menu: Sweet Potato Foam Latte

This was one of the new seasonal drinks. Following the instructions provided, I filled a cup with the yellow sweet potato latte base and topped it with a soft purple sweet potato foam. The rich sweetness of sweet potato combined beautifully with the smooth foam.

Fall New Menu: Spoonable Field Tiramisu

This dessert stood out with its creative presentation. Rich cream was covered with chocolate crumble, while apple mint leaves were arranged like rows in a field. The moist sweetness and subtle espresso bitterness made it easy to keep scooping up spoonful after spoonful.

Fall New Menu: Crispy Sweet Potato Cake & Purple Sweet Potato White Roll

The cake was topped generously with crunchy sweet potato stick snacks, while the roll cake was coated with vibrant purple sweet potato powder. Both highlighted the flavor of sweet potato beautifully.

Fall New Menu: Shine Muscat Rice Cake & Apricot Lemon Cheesecake

The chewy rice cake held a whole Shine Muscat grape inside, while the cheesecake paired New York-style creaminess with apricot jelly and lemon cream. Both matched wonderfully with coffee.

DIY Pumpkin Rice Cake Waffle

Round pumpkin rice cakes were placed into the hot waffle maker and cooked for one minute before being dusted with castella powder. The result was crispy on the outside and delightfully chewy inside.

🍊 Finishing With Fresh Fruits and Cool Drinks

Fall New Menu: Frozen Persimmon & Shine Muscat

The fresh fruit station was stocked with large, seasonal fruits. The Shine Muscat grapes burst with sweet juice, while the frozen persimmon melted smoothly in my mouth and felt like a refreshing taste of fall.

Coffee Machines and Beverage Machines

The beverage area was equipped with coffee, soft drinks, and tea. I finished my weekend outing with a fragrant espresso and some fruit.
